Nizuc is a high end 4 star resort located in Punta Nizuc Mexico, just south of Cancun. The primary objective was to develop an overall branding experience expanding on the pre-existing rabbit iconography and logotype. The project then moved into the development of the main web site including a booking agent, interactive map and floor plans. Clean photography taken by myself and our team at the developing rooms and site along with a clean display font helped in communicating the sophistication and history of Mexico.

Brand & Style

At the onset of the project there was an existing icon and logo type that had been developed, however there was no consistent aesthetic or color pallete. After doing some research I was able to create several other icons based on Mayan illustration as well as a unique counting system updated for a more modern era and the addition of Fedra Sans made for a more cohesive narrative. This coupled with a muted gold accent made for a classy clean finish.

Floor Plans & Cads

I received the room schematics from the architect and from here I was able to create an illustrated floor plan for each of the existing room/suite types. The project as a whole needed to show Nizuc as a mysterious, classy and high-end getaway tucked into the Azur blue of the Mexican coast.

Website Redesign

With the development of the brand I was able to implement this aesthetic across all web channels. The dark backing with sleek typography and simple booking agent made for a quick, easy to navigate experience.
